About

Snow

Hi, I’m Elizabeth Cancino – a curious creative who finds inspiration in both lines of code and lines on a sketchpad. When I’m not building something digital, you’ll find me drawing, exploring new places, watching movies, or out on a peaceful nature walk. I love blending creativity with technology to bring fresh ideas to life.

As the Front-End Developer for a dynamic eCommerce website designed to deliver a smooth and engaging shopping experience. My focus was on building responsive layouts, optimizing performance, and crafting intuitive user interfaces that guide users effortlessly from product discovery to checkout. Using modern technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, I developed key components such as product galleries, filter systems, shopping carts, and mobile-friendly navigation. I collaborated closely with designers and back-end developers to ensure that the site not only looked great but also functioned seamlessly across all devices.

Art

Each painting is a reflection of the beauty I find in the world around me—lush forests, quiet trails, glowing sunsets, and the small, peaceful details we often overlook. Using acrylic paint, I capture the movement, mood, and emotion of natural scenes that inspire me during walks and travels. My work blends vibrant colors, organic textures, and expressive brushstrokes to bring these moments to life on canvas

This detailed campus map was created using Adobe Illustrator to provide a clear and visually appealing guide to the school grounds. Designed with precision and creativity, the map highlights key buildings, classrooms, facilities, and outdoor areas, ensuring easy navigation for students, staff, and visitors. Careful use of color coding, icons, and labels enhances readability and functionality, making the map both informative and user-friendly. The design balances aesthetic appeal with practical utility, reflecting the welcoming and organized spirit of the school.

Forest

This logo was created using Adobe Illustrator and features a leaf as its central element, symbolizing growth, renewal, and fresh beginnings. The design represents the start of a new journey within the classroom—where ideas take root, learning flourishes, and every student has the opportunity to grow. The clean lines and balanced composition reflect a sense of harmony, inspiration, and a welcoming environment for all.

Photography

My nature photography is both a creative outlet and a way to stay connected to the world around me. It complements my art and design by keeping my perspective grounded, observant, and inspired by the outdoors.

Process

My image creation process starts with an idea or concept, which I develop through quick sketches or rough outlines. Once I have a solid base, I refine the lines and shapes, adding details to bring the image to life. Next, I move on to coloring, where I choose a palette that fits the mood and tone of the piece. I layer in shading and highlights to add depth and dimension. Finally, I make adjustments to composition, contrast, and small details to polish the final artwork. Whether traditional or digital, each piece is a mix of planning, intuition, and creativity.
